Everyone loves Venice. A little too much perhaps. “Overtourism” has become a huge issue in La Serenissima. So much so that the city has recently applied a new €5 per person, per day tax for visitors who are not staying overnight in the city. Despite the crowds, Venice still manages to charm, more so if you avoid the throngs around St. Mark’s and Murano. Instead, explore the Dorsoduro neighborhood across the Grand Canal or wander the Jewish Quarter. Reach out if you’d like personalized advice.
